A step by step photo tutorial on how to paint a Christmas Butterfly face paint design.
You can find all the products you need to create this look here.
Download a single sheet step by step instruction page here.

Step 1
Base sponging using a petal sponge. Remember to keep the bottom wing no lower than in line with the tip of the nose. Use Pearl White and Pearl Red loaded onto the petal sponge to create a soft base.

Step 2
Using a one stroke technique outline the wings. Use a small flat brush loaded up with festive red and white. Here we have used the Red, White and Blue one stroke.
Step 3
Create some contrast using the TAG Leaf White one stroke on the wings, painting some additional strokes. Optional, you can connect the top and bottom wings with dots using a small round brush and white paint. We've used Strong White here.

Step 4
Paint a festive one stroke rainbow to connect the two top wings. We've used Stargazer with a #12 flat brush.

Step 5
Elevate the design using a festive stencil over the rainbow, adding some soft red lips, and glitter for extra sparkle. Pearl Red used on the lips here.
