Step 1
Paint two giraffe ears just above the child's eyebrows. Think soft, curved triangles. Join the ears by creating a rounded forehead shape, this becomes the top of the giraffe's head. Paint two little ossicones sprouting from the forehead instantly bringing the animal character to life! Using a petal sponge, depending on the child's age fill in the eyelids with white and pink for a petal effect.
Step 2
Using Strong Black add a touch of soft fluff to the insides of the ears to make them pop, as well as a petite giraffe nose.
Step 3
Add is some flower petals around the eyes for a soft touch or try adding leafy vines peeking around the ears for a more adventurous feel.
Step 4
Using a stencil or freehand technique, add giraffe spots across the bridge of the nose and upper forehead. Go wild with it, this is the hero detail of the whole design!
