Step 1
Create the base shape using a petal sponge, and TAG Lavender Skies 50g cake. Use a gentle dabbing action when applying the paint to the skin for the wing shape.
Step 2
Using a one stroke technique and a flat angle brush, paint on the first layer of the wings. Here we have used the Pastel Prism cake using the darker edge.
Step 3
Using the same one stroke technique and flat angle brush create the second layer inside the wings using the Pastel Prism cake, this time loading your brush with the lighter edge to create contrast. Using a flat angle brush and one stroke technique, use the Berry Bloom cake to add some flowers to the inside of the top wings.
Step 4
Using a flat angle brush and one stroke technique, pop in some small leaves in and around the flowers. Here we have used the Midnight Tide 30g cake. Don't forget to line the eyelids with Strong White and add some shimmery lips for an extra touch.
